30min Treadmill Turkey Blast!

Can you spare 30 minutes? Perfect, we can too. This intense workout will get your heart rate pumping and burn some calories, just in time for the holidays! If you don’t have a treadmill, don’t worry, just head outside with a stop watch and alternate between jogging, running and walking. Interval training is a great way to boost your metabolism with a short amount of time.

30 min turkey blast:
5 min warm up-walk or easy jog
2 min run or fast jog followed by 1 min easy jog -repeat 5 times
5 min-5% incline fast walk-drive your knees up
5 min cool down

If you are concerned at what speed to have the treadmill, find a number that is challenging for you during the runs- keep in mind after 2 minutes of run or fast jog you have 1 min recovery time with each of the easy.  Take it to an easy jog or walk. You understand your body more than anyone else.

Don’t forget to stretch and hydrate afterwards.
