Yesterday was almost an ideal workout…except for the fact that I ate a piece of chocolate before I walked in.
It’s not like I was trying to sabotage before the workout, but I had this piece of chocolate I had bought at Borders and it would have melted! and it was small! and Karen works me out good!
No, but really I shouldn’t have had it = (. It is amazing what your mind will do before it knows it is going to workout. I do workout on days when I am not at 02 Max Fitness, but somehow when I know I am going to walk into the space my body goes “we have more calories to burn today, eat more!”
I do not even think I really want the food all that much, it is a mental thing. So, when I got home I decided to try to pretend I hadn’t worked out and eat normally. This was a challenge at first, but once I calmed down and realized I was not as ravenous as I thought, I ate more regularly.
Next week, I am going to try really hard to balance out my workout and the food I eat for the day and Karen said she would help remind me…baby steps right?
