I had a birthday. I went on vacation. I missed Karen for two weeks. I might not have worked out much…is mini-golf working out? Oh man oh man did I feel the after effects of too much gluten-free birthday cake (unfortunate, I know, but its genetic what can I say).
I was so sore after our last workout and the only positive part of that was I got to see Karen the next day and complain about how sore I was each and every time we sat down, stood-up, climbed stairs or laughed too hard. She didn’t really feel bad though…in fact, she kept saying “good” whenever I was like “oooooohhh, uggggghhhh, my innnneeerrr thiiiiigghhs, Karen it hurrrrts.”
It is really good though because I am now really looking forward to it. Working out I think makes me stronger as a person. Yes, a major goal is to look great in a bathing suit, but it has now stretched beyond that. I feel like I am challenging myself, taking care of my body and really growing–muscles, mind and all = ).
