My experience at O2 MAX Fitness was incredible – never before I came across a group of people that care so deeply about changing the way people experience fitness. Karen has been a great mentor and I was able to learn more about the fitness industry. While I worked on variety things, from website redesign to help put up investor and brand packages for O2 MAX brand, I understood how deeply Karen cares about the company and how she truly believes in helping college students and young adults improve their fitness habits. During my internship I learned not only about marketing, branding, representing company with investors but also boosted my communication skills and learnt more about the fitness industry in general. I hope O2 MAX Fitness will grow to become the company it strives to be, and I feel proud being a part of it.

During my internship by O2 MAX Fitness, I learnt how to promote fitness on internet. I worked on the promotion on social networks in order to generate traffic to our website. After 15 weeks of internship, I think I grew up on a professional level and I learnt many things: firstly about the fitness industry which was totally unknown before going to USA. And secondly, I learnt a lot of new marketing skills, especially about social media management. I am now able to set up an online strategy and manage a lot of different networks thanks to O2 MAX. I didn’t realize how much it was important for a company to be present online and cover a maximum of channels. I was so thankful to have such big responsibilities in the company, I felt like I had a real place in O2 MAX.

Paris) studying International Business. We interned with the O2 MAX Fitness team for two months in Santa Monica. It was a great experience during our stay here with the two coaches, Karen and Jonathan. In this internship, we learned a lot not only about marketing, but fitness, teamwork and became more professional individuals. Thanks to the coach’s advice, we learned a lot of things about how important it is to have a healthy lifestyle. Before we came here, we did not have much experience or ideas about fitness. However, when we arrived here, we discovered interesting techniques and developed an inspiration for fitness. This gave us a huge impact in our way of living. When we go back to France, we will be able to apply the things we learned here at O2 MAX Fitness. Before, we just wanted to go the gym to workout whenever we want and without a program. However,With the help of the fitness coaches & O2 MAX’s program, we began to work out better than usual. Marketing on the other hand, we learned about the customers perspective, social media and one of the most important things - working together as a team. Thanks to Karen’s faith in us she gave us a project as a team and we learned a lot about this experience. To conclude thanks to the O2 MAX team for welcoming us in this beautiful city and to train us for our internship! This was a really great experience for us to work, live, and learn about a different culture!
