So I am in the 4th week of training and doing the summer fitness challenge with 02 Max Fitness and a bunch of my teen clients. I was really excited in the beginning and then I reached that dreaded workout plateau.
I think I was really stressed the last few weeks and doing Reverse Lunges (I swear Karen’s favorite) was the absolute last thing I wanted to do with my Friday.
Yet, even when I come in tired, I usually leave more motivated. It is amazing that when I work out I really feel like my whole outlook on life gets better. I also think about work all day long, when I am in the 02 Max Fitness gym all I am thinking about is the workout and talking to Karen and Shirley (thanks guys). It is such a good mental break!
The music is going, first I am doing squats, then rowing, then jump rope, then push-ups then its over. It forces me to get out of the humdrum of my day. So, you would never think it, but my training sessions have become a blissful break from a stressful week..who would have guessed–push-ups relaxing?
