Summer is under way, which is great, but also means we are moving closer to the next school year. Time just keeps flying by. If you just graduated or maybe just finished your senior year of high school and haven’t learned about fitness/working out yet we can help. I remember when I went away to college, I was warned and laughed about the “freshman 15″ but in fact it is true. When we go off to college, mom is not cooking for us and we have complete freedom, some things just fall apart. Often working out and eating balanced meals.
I was fortunate enough to have to walk up a large hill when I went away to college to get the to cafeteria. Even 7eleven was up the hill, so either place I went I burned a some calories on my way there. I was lucky to not gain the weight, but if I didn’t exercise by hiking, jogging, lifting weights and walk up that big hill, It would have happend to me. I also had awarness of what I was eating which helped.
This is the fix-Freshman 15. Come to O2 MAX we will teach you the stuff you need to know to go out on your own and keep fit. 3 visits with us and you’ll be golden. During this time we will analyze your movement/fitness level, make a realistic plan for when you move away and talk about nutrition and food choices. Sound good?
